I have often found a pre-wedding photography session with you to be extremely useful, both from a photographic point of view and getting you used to being in front of the camera. But also, and just as important, it gives us the chance to get to know each other a little better so that everything is more familiar come your wedding day. The shoot itself is a very relaxed affair; no time constraints, no rushing, no posing or manufacturing awkward positions, just you two being yourselves. We can go for a walk somewhere, perhaps in some woods, a beach or a place that is special and means something to you. It goes without saying that your wedding day will be totally different to the pre-wedding session and you definitely won’t be aware of me at all on your special day, so it may feel a little unusual at first but my job is to make you feel relaxed, at ease and comfortable. I can guide you with what to wear, what to bring and how it’s all going to work but all you need is an open mind and smile. Afterwards, once I have processed all of the images, you might like to consider having one of the photos mounted at your wedding to use as a signing board for all your guests to leave their messages. We can then swap the photo with one from your wedding, have it framed and treasured forever.
